The Jazzhaus History

Since 1982, The Jazzhaus has been part of the rhythm of downtown Lawrence. Tucked along Massachusetts Street, it has welcomed generations of musicians, night owls, friends, and music lovers through its doors. From jazz and blues to rock, reggae, and everything in between, the Jazzhaus has always been a place to discover a great band, share a drink, and stay out a little later than planned.
More than four decades later, the spirit remains the same: live music, good people, and a room full of stories waiting to happen.
